Announcing FY11 Community Mini-Grant Application!

Greetings!

Let's Go! is seeking applications from community organizations to fund a project that supports healthy lifestyle choices for children, youth and families in the 12 Greater Portland communities. The project funded by this mini-grant must be focused on making policy and/or environmental changes that will support physical activity and healthy eating.

• Applications must be submitted by organizations working within the Let’s Go! service area: Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Falmouth, Freeport, Gorham, North Yarmouth, Portland, Scarborough, South Portland, Westbrook, Windham or Yarmouth.

• Priority will be given to innovative projects and/or projects focusing on and impacting disparate populations.

• This year Let’s Go! will make one grant of up to $10,000.

• Applications must be received by email by June 1, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
